Opinion: I would recommend this.
Other Comments: Monterey showing that it's coming into its Rhone. An outstanding blend of: 62% Syrah, 28% Grenache, 5% Alicante Bouschet, 5% Petitie Sirah. Le Mistral was founded by Joseph Phelps but SADLY, it looks as if this brand is now owned by Ventana who has produced some of the most forgettable wines we've ever bought. Nothing we bought at their tasting room ever tasted as good as the wine we sampled there. Bought several cases of Ventana about 10 years ago and ended up pouring them down the drain. I have avoided their wines since then. I fear for Le Mistral.
